secures the refinancing with a mortgage is not entitled to have the same
priority for its mortgage as the original lender’s mortgage. See

EVANS
& LUPTAK was originally founded by John C. Evans in 1930
as a sole practitioner, making Evans & Luptak one of the oldest firms in
the metropolitan Detroit area. The law firm initially concentrated in the
specialty of tax law and has used this base to develop in all areas of
business law, including mergers, acquisitions, real estate, partnerships,
corporations, banking, securities, estate planning, employee benefits,
business litigation and bankruptcy.
The firm’s typical
client is a small to medium size manufacturer, real estate developer,
retailer, bank or service organization. Purposefully, growth has been restricted to
maintain the intimacy of a small law firm that brings clients quality service
on a personal basis. Because of our
medium size, attorneys in different areas interrelate easily and support each
other.
The commitment to
maintain the preeminence of Evans & Luptak in its various areas of
practice is evidenced by the continuing professional and educational
development of all its attorneys. Our
attorneys are actively involved in bar association programs and the authoring
of articles in law reviews, as well as bar and trade publications. Not only do our attorneys regularly attend
courses of continuing legal education in their respective fields, we often
serve as faculty for such continuing legal education programs.
The firm makes extensive
use of computers and other modern office technology. Word processing systems provide the
capability of total computerized support.
However, the system does not rely solely on necessary hardware and
software; it depends as much on experienced support staff. Evans & Luptak has a unique firm
personality and the necessary resources –
ranging from
experienced and accomplished lawyers to trained legal assistants and support
personnel to ensure outstanding legal service.
We invite you to contact us to see how
we can serve your needs.
