Markus E. Jakobson joined Evans & Luptak's affiliated office in Boca Raton, Florida in 1996, where he practices general business and real estate law.  He has been involved in all areas of commercial and residential land closings, including insurance, financing, and contract negotiations.  He also practices in estate planning and probate, as well as corporate law.  He also works closely with a real estate development firm and therefore has experience with the entire development process.

He was born in Lakewood, New Jersey on January 16, 1965 and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont in 1988 (B.A.).  In 1992, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville and in 1993, he received his L.L.M. in Real Estate Law and Finance from the University of Miami School of Law.  He was editor of The Journal of Law and Education at the University of Louisville School of Law.  He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Kentucky Bar Association.

Mr. Jakobson is fluent in the Estonian language and currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida.
